Human Resources Specialist
We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad knowledge of Human Resources as well as general administrative responsibilities. They will be able to work autonomously and efficiently to ensure the end-to-end running of HR projects and operations.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and administer employee policies.
- Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues.
- Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience. Offer proactive recruiting assistance.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with employment agencies to ensure the selection of the most qualified candidates.
- Identify ways to improve policies and procedures.
- Prepare termination and severance letters.
- Train and provide support to HR team members.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Specialist, or similar HR role.
- Experience in project management.
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Aptitude in problem-solving.
- Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related (essential).
- HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute).
